The 3 Breath Awareness is an extraordinary tool that allows you to reboot yourself and access the well of limitless knowledge within you in moments. It’s not just about breathing. We’re already doing that – and it’s still easy to find ourselves getting into agitated states unable to get out of them. The 3 Breath Awareness is something that can be utilized many times a day and will always deepen your connection to stillness and your true essence, from where the greatest guidance originates. It brings about a new perspective on life where we realize we aren’t at the mercy of the world. You discover a sense of well-being that allows your actions — in even the most challenging moments — to be directed by inspiration and thoughtfulness. We all want this level of guidance and contentment, yet, most people feel like they can’t acquire or maintain it because of their busy lives. Only, it isn’t just about finding time for the practice of stillness. It’s about living in the awareness it offers you throughout your day. Once we have become aligned with with the stream of life-force that exists at our core, then we are able to tap into it at will with The 3 Breath Awareness practice. What is so amazing about this process is that it can be utilized anywhere, anytime — whether you are alone or surrounded by people, in chaotic situations or in quiet ones. The 3 Breath Awareness is like a comforting friend, always there, inviting you to deepen your connection to the place of profound stillness and knowing within. How to Experience The 3 Breath Awareness: •Practice first with your eyes closed. You can be standing or sitting. If possible, listen to the process here or on a Stillness Session® CD •Feel any tension in your body and let it go with each breath you take. •Breathe very deeply. Breathe so deep you can feel the air as it moves throughout every cell in your body. •With each breath feel yourself relaxing even more. •Place your awareness within. •After the 3rd DEEP breath, sit in the awareness. Continue breathing and looking within. •Maintain this inner focus for 1-3 minutes or longer. The level of stress you were in when you began will determine the length of time needed to feel this shift in consciousness. •With your eyes still closed, notice if you can feel what has changed. Often, people say that even the air surrounding them has a different quality. Many feel the enlivened energy stream as it moves within them, often in the form of a tingling sensation in their hands or the top of the head and throughout their body. •Then, open your eyes while holding onto the stillness you have just moved into. When you take action from this state of ‘being’, it will enhance all the outcomes you are looking for, as well as greatly improve your state of mind in the moment. |
