 Maassi

Maasai Health Project

'Action Jackson' (Jackson Ole Napjit) is a Maasai who grew up on the plains of the Mara in a rural area of Kenya in Africa. When Jackson met Marlise he shared with her his intention to become the first Maasai balloon pilot so he could earn more money to continue funding all of his clinical healing work with the Maasai tribe. After experiencing a Stillness Session with Marlise, that awakening Energy of Grace offered him the hope to continue the important work he was doing. Inspired now by the belief that he would also find a way to become a balloon pilot, he gave him the assurance that he would never have to turn anyone away because of their financial situation. Marlise told this very special individual that she would help him in any way she could and committed to donating 50% of the proceeds of the Imagine Stillness Session CD. The musical artists who joined her in making this extraordinary excursion into Stillness, contributed their profits as well. For more information go to http://www.maasaiinamerica.com

Trees of Life

The second project to receive a portion of the IMAGINE CD proceeds is called 'Trees of Life' and was founded by Mikaelu Djiguiba from the famous Dogon tribe, in Mali, West Africa. Mikaelu is another amazing individual who is making a difference in the lives of many tribal people in Mali, Africa. As the guide for Marlise's Stillness tour through the Dogon country, he shared with her many of the challenges the people there are facing. The desertification of the African continent is having grave consequences on the Malian population in terms of poverty and natural resources. The Trees of Life Program seeks to plant 500 trees in the first year, planting 5 different types of trees that are beneficial to the environment and are a source of food, medicine and shelter for local people.
